From glass to Venetian mirror

The artisans working in the Ongaro e Fuga workshop on Murano island master the whole range of ancient techniques required to create Venetian styled mirrors. Their know-how goes further, and the team designs and creates contemporary, site-specific installations by internationally renowned designers and artists. A guided tour to the Ongaro e Fuga atelier in Murano brings the visitors into their workshops, allowing them to experience the different phases of production of their mirrors, from the very first idea and paper sketch to the final object. Booking is essential and must be made at least 2 days ahead of the desired date.
