Make miniature plates from clay
2 hours 3-4 people40 EUR per personIn this workshop, ceramicist Ingrid Wens leads participants to make ceramic plates for a doll’s house. Simple moulds are used to create pretty outlines that also allow depth to be added to the plate. Once the plates are dry, they can be decorated using paint. The moulds available are for different types of plates and dishes. The plates are fired in a kiln and after three weeks can either be picked up or sent home by post. They will not be glazed, but it is possible to finish them off at home using varnish or nail polish. The workshop is aimed at those with little or no experience, and most people end up making about six miniature plates.
