Visit idyllic Tilgu village in southern Estonia and learn how to forge an axe from steel with master artisan Peeter Reemann. This three-day course is a unique opportunity to discover blacksmithing work and learn about its very rich history. You will learn to work under pressure, molding the fiery steel under the blow of the hammer. You will also acquire knowledge of the differences between blacksmithing and other metal working. For this course, prior experience of blacksmithing is an advantage, but not a necessity to take part. This course is organised by appointment and the price includes the workshops, 2 nights of accommodation, 8 meals and coffee/tea breaks.
