Past, present and future of wood
1 hourFreeA one-of-a-kind building covered in Siberian larch wood, born from a design idea of the Renzo Piano Building Workshop studio, host the Riva Center, created in 2010 by Riva 1920 to take visitors on a trip around the role of wood in the past, in the present and in the future of humanity. The showroom on the ground floor provides visitors with an overview on the current offering of Riva 1920. On the first floor, a unique collection of more than 5,000 pieces represents a veritable Museum of Wood. On the top floor, a multifunctional space welcomes the Pangea table, designed by Daniele De Lucchi, surrounded by a xyloteque of about 900 woods from all over the world.
