Explore the art of murrina

Up to 1 hour Max 15 peopleFrom 50 euros per group

Murano-based Ercole Moretti glassworks specialises in the production of charming murrina glass jewellery and interior design objects, handmade with the greatest skill and craftsmanship. Visitors are first introduced to the history of the glassworks and its production techniques. Then they visit the workshop, where master glassmakers demonstrate how the long glass cane is created and given its characteristic patterns of flowers, stars or concentric circles. The visit continues in the laboratories where the murrina pearls are transformed into necklaces, earrings and pendants. Then it's time to visit the company's museum, which stores everything made by the glassworks since it was founded. At the end of the tour visitors can purchase objects from the company’s latest line. The tour costs 50 euros for up to 5 people, with an extra 10 euros for each additional person.
