Nestled in the countryside near Venice, in a historical villa among the vineyards, Atelier Pietro Longhi offers a full immersion into costume making through a guided tour of its workspaces. The tour starts with a small introduction to the history of costume and to the sartorial rework method demonstrated on mannequins, however this part can also be dedicated to theatrical costume making or to the costumes of the Venice Carnival. The second part of the tour is dedicated to millinery, showcasing the hats the atelier is working on and with a small demonstration of hat making. After that, the tour continues in the tailor's workshop, where visitors can see tailors at work and get a close look at the historical costumes making.
