Feel the clay

4 hours Max 15 people50 euros per person

Passionate ceramicist Rasa Justaitė-Gecevičienė invites you to feel clay with your own hands. From the lump of clay you will be able to make a bowl, a plate, a cup or whatever else you want. The most important thing is that your work has enough space for decoration. The aim of this workshop is to show that ceramics can be decorated in the most unexpected ways. To decorate the pottery, you will use a meat grinder, various wooden baking tools, textured rolls, silicone ice cube and cupcake moulds – you will see what results can be achieved with simple everyday objects. You will also decorate wet clay using things found outside: plants, stones or bark. Later, the works are glazed, fired and shipped to the homes of the participants (delivery charges are not included in the fee).
