An introductory workshop to the making of kumihimo

1 hour4,500 yen per person

This course is perfect for anyone interested in learning the basics of the Japanese art of kumihimo silk braiding, an ancient craft with a history of over 1,300 years. Participants can choose their favourite colour from Ryukobo’s original plant-dyed silk threads and learn to braid using a round stand to create either a keyholder or a bracelet. This course is 60 minutes long, it is for both individuals and groups and the reservation are required 1 month in advance via the official website.
