Create your own glass and paperclay object

2 hours (2 days) Max 8 people20 euros per day

Have you ever wondered how an impossible-looking ceramic object is made? In a studio full of exquisite ceramic pieces, Anne will teach you how to create a unique glass object that is mixed with paperclay. On the first day, she demonstrates the step-by-step method of how to mould paperclay to combine it with melting glass. Then Anne will fire the paperclay pieces. The second day you will work with glass and glaze. Anne will teach you how to cut the glass, what types of glass materials to use, how to colour glass and other various techniques. She will also demonstrate how to pack the kiln in a way that glass and glaze form “spiky hair”. This course needs to be booked in advance.
