Insight into the daily life of the nuns

90 minutes Max 20 people40 euros per group

Next to the Church of St. Archangel Michael there was a convent of the Bernardine nuns. Dedicated to prayer, they lived a closed life, invisible to the eyes of the passers-by. You will get to know what was happening behind the thick walls of the convent. One of the most important duties of a nun was taking care of the liturgical vestments. The sisters were true masters of embroidery. They mastered many difficult techniques and knew how to embroider with gold and silk thread. You will perform a fun task requiring some effort, patience, and diligence. Try the impressive technique of embroidery on paper.
