Gold leaf for golden plants

This workshop is an opportunity to experiment with the art of gilding in a creative environment. During the whole day, the artist and master craftswoman Sophie Blanc will guide you in learning the technique of gold plating on plants. Each participant will first be able to choose some of their favourite dried plants from Sophie's personal collection and her own botanical library. After preparing the composition, visitors will pass some of the mixture on the parts to be gilded, to then gently and delicately embellish the plants with gold leaf. To conclude this poetic experience, each composition will be beautifully presented under glass. The course hours are 9:30 to 12:30 and 14:00 to 17:00.
