Learn the art of handcrafting flowers

24 hours750 euros per person

Making silk flowers of all types, sizes and colours is a very thorough and delicate job that requires a lot of passion, patience and dedication. This craft not only involves understanding ancient craft techniques and being aware of current trends, but also working with burins and knowing how to use silk, organza, fur, feathers or tulle, and other natural fabrics. In this introductory course, organised in collaboration with the Postgraduate Course in Wedding and Ceremony Dress Design of the European Institute of Design in Barcelona (IED), Beatriz Natmar teaches the basics of how to start making flowers by hand. The course lasts three days and runs from 9.30 to 13.30 and from 14.30 to 18.30.
