Create your own papier mâché sculptures

12 hours 3-8 people230 pounds per person

In this two-day workshop, Abigail will demonstrate a variety of techniques that she uses to create her papier mâché animal heads without the use of moulds, sculpting the form from scrunched up newspaper and cardboard. The first day is dedicated to the creation of the animal heads and covering them with papier mâché so they can be left to dry overnight. On the second day Abigail will offer participants the opportunity to play around with acrylic paint and coloured pencils, demonstrating different ways to use it to add colour and texture to their animals. Participants will leave with at least one finished animal head, with the possibility of more depending on their confidence and speed.
