Discover the art of knife making
20 min Max 4FreeFrancisco Torres Rodríguez is a master of the deep-rooted tradition of Canary knives, a craft that has been practised in his family over three generations. Every knife he makes is a unique piece which takes around two weeks of dedicated work ranging from metalwork to work with goat, ram, cow and bull horns – primary materials that are not always easy to find. Along with the making process you will also get the chance to admire a wide range of exhibited models and immerse yourself in a workshop rich in history, as Francisco’s father and teacher, Rafael Torres Osorio, worked here until 1992, when he designed his last knife.
