The magic of amber in a modern accessory

1 hour Max 12 people2 euros per person

A piece of amber contains a tale of many millions of years. People have appreciated and adorned themselves with amber since ancient times. However, it can also be used in modern jewellery. Specialists of the Palanga Amber Museum will tell visitors about amber processing methods used since the second half of the 20th century, about how attitudes towards amber are changing, what is made from amber and how artists use it. Led by the museum’s specialists, visitors will be able to become contemporary artists for an hour and create an impressive accessory for themselves. Unexpected combinations of different materials, such as beads, plastic, cords or wires, will be combined with ancient amber to create a unique piece.
