The five sculptures are handcrafted from paper and coloured with acrylic paint. This series depicts a scene of a meditation sequence of five Sufi dervishes, with their whirling and orbiting movement also symbolising the planets in the solar system. The right hands of the dervishes face the sky while their left hands face the land, referring to our connection to God and the earth.
