In the world of leather goods, the name Serapian is synonymous with excellence in craftsmanship and Milanese elegance. The Maison was founded in 1928 by Stefano Serapian in Milan. Since then, Serapian’s creations for both men and women have attracted a loyal following of discerning connoisseurs. Entirely made in Italy from the most noble leathers and materials, Serapian’s leather is recognised for its iconic Mosaico craft, refined tonal palette and soft geometric shapes. Balancing tradition and innovation, Serapian remains one of the few Maisons to offer a complete bespoke service at its atelier located in the heart of Milan. A unique experience, under the expert eye of Giovanni Nodari Serapian, for those whom customisation remains the key to exclusivity.

When Stefano Serapian brought Mosaico to life in 1947, he created a specialty so unique that it would become one of the Maison's hallmarks. Delicate strips of lamb nappa are meticulously handwoven together by Serapian's skilled artisans, creating a geometric, hypnotic effect somewhere between Byzantine mosaics and Japanese origami. Each Mosaico creation is enriched with an inside leather tag signed with the name of the artisan who crafted it.

The Maison is presenting an exceptional collection of Mosaico creations: some of its most iconic pieces, like the Secret bag, together with some special editions exclusively crafted for the fair to pay tribute to the Japanese culture.
Called "Milano-Tokyo", this collection is a dialogue between the Italian and Japanese cultures, both rooted in high craftsmanship and design.
