The handwoven framed textile is hand-dyed using the ikat technique. This piece is inspired by a plant that shares the same name - the Pink Princess. This Philodendron naturally has pink variegation on its dark green leaves. The pattern on the textile gives a sense of a vertical movement, as the colours change, merging into each other and giving the finished piece an almost hand-painted quality to it.
