The mosaic panel was handcrafted from Venetian smalti and golds in the Orsoni furnace in Venice and hand cut into artistic tesserae. Each tile was cut using a hammer and hardie, traditional mosaic making tools, and installed by hand. The Venetian smalti colours were carefully selected by Orsoni’s master mosaicist Antonella Gallenda, who spent over 100 hours working to complete this piece.
