Night at the Ballroom

The exterior of this luxury table tennis case is made out of Norwegian salmon fish leather, tanned in Iceland. The interior is made of French vegetable tanned goat leather. The case and the paddle with its diamond shape symbolise for Daniel a new way of thinking in an otherwise very conservative world.
The idea to create a high-end luxury case for an everyday object came to the artist when he was playing with the thought of seeing a person dressed up for a night in town, carrying a table tennis case as the main accessory.
