The gentleman's pocket watch of A. Lange & Söhne, 1A quality, was sold to the Bremen jewellery and watch dealer Wilkens & Danger on 4 July 1891. Not only is the gold case fully embellished, the pocket watch also has a dial with floral decorations, Roman numerals and small seconds. Under the cover on the back of the watch you can see the glass-protected movement with its artfully finished individual parts. For instance, the winding wheels have a solarisation finishing, the balance wheel features a diamond end stone and the balance cock is engraved by hand.
