Part of the Chinese Restaurant collection, this sculptural table lamp is hand-built from clay and finished in soft, opaque, airbrush colours. Based on initial sketches, each element is handcrafted and modelled into leaf-like segments that resemble the acanthus plant. The series was initiated by a desire to create objects that were the antipode of traditional Scandinavian modern design.
