This sautoir watch belongs to the Piaget private collection. In 1969 Piaget proposed a new way of wearing time with cuff and sautoir watches. Piaget named this collection the "21st Century Collection". This necklace plays on fluidity and movement. It combines the work of a chain-maker, who works the chain and tassels into twists, and that of a jeweller, who has adorned the creation with lapis-lazuli beads. On the watchmaking side, the sautoir features a lapis-lazuli dial and an ultra-thin movement.
