Yury Bylkov makes expressive pieces of metal, plastic, ceramic, wire, wood – you name it, he creates it! He is always up for a challenge: "I prefer titan to silver and gold, because it is affordable, hypoallergenic, and yet it’s much more difficult to work with." He started studying jewellery design in 2000, going onto graduate from the Professional Lyceum of Arts and Crafts named after Carl Faberge and St.Petersburg School of Jewelry Craftsmanship in Image and Form. Yury initially worked at manufacturers, he tried all possible professions in the industry, but his artistic spirit demanded way more independence. From 2012 he has worked on his own and it’s proven to be a successful strategy, as he is now well recognized, despite his young age.
