Swiss traditions fuelled by imagination

  • • Vincent is a prodigy in fine jewellery crafting
  • • He values the Swiss tradition of jewellery making
  • • His workshop opens onto his boutique

Having always loved nature and precious stones, it was with great joy that 12 year-old Vincent accepted a three-day training course with a jewellery maker, a passion that never left him after that. After winning the Swiss jewellers' championship age 19, he opened his own boutique and workshop in the heart of Lausanne when he was 26. It is a place of true visual discovery: all the pieces of jewellery sold are made by Vincent and his team. The workshop gives on to the showroom, which allows us to witness their craftsmanship while appreciating the completed pieces. Vincent's jewellery creations each have a story to tell: from a flight of bees to the cathedrals of Lausanne and Fribourg, from Lake Léman to fireworks. Vincent's imagination guides his creations.

Hibiscus

This ring is a combination of traditional jewellery techniques and plant aesthetics. In yellow gold 750 with the central part in pink gold 750, the centre of the ring is set with an oval spinel of 4.65 carats. The pavé and small isolated stones are green sapphires, demantoid garnets, pink sapphires and natural diamonds. It is a unique piece, entirely handmade.

Paraiba Bee Flight

The movement within this ring is inspired by the flight of a bee, translated into a hand-forged piece in a 750 white gold bar, set with diamonds and topped with a Paraiba tourmaline.

Flight of Bees

A child's game, in summer, sitting and watching the work of the many bees gathering lavender. Their flight, when suddenly disturbed, was to Vincent Michel like a dance mixing delicate disorder with elegance. It is this spontaneous flight that inspired this necklace. Made of 750 white gold, it is entirely hand-forged, fully articulated and has a concealed clasp. It is set with 45 Paraiba tourmalines and 660 natural brilliant-cut diamonds of superior quality.
