Making jewellery her been Saskia Diez' favourite hobby since childhood, and her talent for it did not go unnoticed. She found an apprenticeship with a family-run goldsmith in Munich where "the young master craftsman and his mother who trained me were very eager to share what they knew" with her. After her apprenticeship Saskia decided to study industrial design, which gave her a new, broader perspective. She opened up her business while still studying, and her pieces are now sold internationally. A permanent workforce of 10 is employed at her atelier in Munich today. Saskia puts great sensitivity and intention in her jewellery design and craftsmanship. She explains that in 2020 she felt the need to work more with crystals and semi-precious stones, which are said to have different healing and protecting effects.
