Salviati is one of the leading manufacturers of artistic glass in Murano, and one that had a pivotal role in the resurgence of Murano glass production ever since its founding in 1859 by Antonio Salviati. Since the beginning, the company focused on the production of precious mosaics, enamels and blown glass and it soon gained international recognition, winning a Gold Medal at the Universal Exposition in Paris in 1867 and being involved in many world-class projects, includindg the Houses of Parliament in London, the Viceroy’s palace in Alessandria in Egypt and the Opera House in Paris, to name a few.

After more than 160 years, Salviati today is a contemporary manufactory that celebrates the Murano tradition through the glass masters working in the hot shop and it is committed to spreading the glass blowing art culture all around the world, collaborating with some of the best-known designers in the world. Salviati's production is divided into artistic glass, tableware, lighting and a special interiors section open to world-renowned designers using glass in its infinite shapes for bespoke solutions.
