The Piró family goldsmith workshop was founded by Antonio García Piró in 1925, after training in the workshop of Agustín Devesa. His activity was interrupted by the Civil War, but later, around 1950, the goldsmith's workshop was established in Carrer de na Jordana, a street in the centre of Valencia, a place where craftsmen from different disciplines were brought together: sculptors, casters, or woodcarvers
In 2003, the third generation of the Piró family took over the goldsmith business under the name Piró Orfebres. Its activity is focused on goldsmithing, noble and precious metalwork: religious and decorative silverware, restoration of artistic heritage, as well as reproductions of historical pieces. Traditionally, their skills are sought to embellish churches in their local region, but they also carry out international orders.
