At the beginning of the 20th century, Elisa Peris Roca's grandfather, Salvador, started a family goldsmith workshop. In the 1970s, Elisa's parents moved the workshop to the Carmen neighbourhood, in the centre of Valencia, where it is currently located. They dedicated themselves to the manufacture of handcrafted pieces related to Valencian clothing.
During the 1980s is when the teenager Elisa made her first chiselled work on a brass plate. In 2005, Elisa began to take charge of the workshop and conceptually transformed it into what it is today: a place where the secrets of the trade are shown, that is to say, to show "how-it-is-done" with total transparency where the artisans show their way of working without complexes.
