The Nalejto studio was established in 2015 when its founders attended the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art. The collective of ceramicists aimed to step out of the academic realm and reach a broader audience. The studio has since earned its three members prizes, nominations and exhibitions. The atelier distributes its goods to numerous Czech design shops and receives custom orders. Markéta Kalivodová, Lucie Vostalová and Lenka Záhorková work both individually and jointly.
Being faithful to their studio's name, which means "pour it" in Czech, the trio mostly create tableware collections and vases; however, they make lights or art objects too. The ceramicists employ traditional handicraft production and decoration methods, but they also experiment with innovations. Most of their pieces are made of porcelain from the mecca of this material, Karlovy Vary. All the objects are defined by simplicity and playfulness, graced with carefully chosen colours.
