What do you enjoy most about your craft?
The beauty of this capricious material, but also the surprise moments that appear in the working process. Whilst working there is an opportunity to succeed, but also to learn through errors. By making mistakes there is a possibility to learn new techniques and know the materials better.
What is the highlight of this craft?
There are many things to highlight! Besides working with materials, I would highlight taking part in exhibitions and of course their opening events. During these moments I can share my personal work with a broader audience and receive feedback.

What is a well made piece in your opinion?
One that has a meaning to it. When creating something, there is always a purpose behind the piece in the first place, be it ethical, useful, practical, aesthetical, or just simply carrying a meaning, message or emotion.
Could your craft be lost in time?
Some techniques yes, but there are also cures for this. For instance, once we found out that glass engraving had lost its importance, we decided to start “gravure on tour” - offering several engraving courses in Europe. It was amazing to see how much popularity it gained.
