The two co-founders of the Greek atelier, Anastasia Xenaki and Petros Christoforatos, embrace the culture of weaving and its thousands of years history, to bring it into a contemporary realm. The atelier opened in 2016, in the city of Athens. Anastasia was able to learn and master the techniques of weaving with her mother, Eleni Xenaki, a professor of the discipline for over 40 years in Greece.

In their studio, the whole production of woven accessories is made on traditional manual wooden looms. Cotton, pure wool, and silk are the unique components of the textiles. Along with the woven objects they design, the atelier collaborates with Greek cultural associations, for whom they weave traditional costumes. Aside from their work, Loom% is faithfully committed to public education. Through school programs, they are proud to offer interactive workshops for children and adults.
