The legendary Huntsman is a bastion of Savile Row, and recognised for making some of the world’s finest handcrafted clothes. Established in 1849, it has long been a destination for sartorially discerning ladies and gentleman, and recently a new generation has discovered Huntsman. The popular film series “Kingsman” featuring well-dressed spies in Huntsman suits, with scenes shot in the Huntsman workshop, is bringing new customers to tailoring.
The tailoring process takes place at 11 Savile Row, where customers can see the tailors at work in the workshops. The head cutter relies on his experience, his “rock of eye”, to cut the pattern perfectly for each customer and achieve the signature house style. The shop is open for appointments and walk-ins, though prior booking is recommended for certain services. Bespoke tailoring is at the heart of Huntsman, though they do go further with small pret-a-porter collections, luxury gifting and accessories. A place where tradition meets innovation, Huntsman’s approach to bespoke tailoring has been "contemporary since 1849."
