Colour blast bags

Giorgio Figus is not much of a talker. While his wife and daughter Eleonora deal with customers, he prefers to stick to his workshop in the backroom of one of his two Milanese shops. He has been creating handmade leather bags and accessories for more than 40 years, following an early artistic vocation. When he was a child in his native Sardinia, he used to wake up in the middle of the night to draw on the walls of his bedroom. Growing up, he learned to work with wood, then moved to Milan and tackled leatherwork. Since 1979, when Giorgio opened his first workshop, many things have changed. The workshop has survived the economic crisis and the recent pandemic. His daughter Eleonora has joined the family business, designing bags as well as jewellery. What has remained the same is the quality of the products, that are made with the same love and expertise as always.
