The story of Foxford is a tale almost 130 years in the making. The company was created and developed by visionaries and entrepreneurs. Started by Agnes Morrogh-Bernard in response to the poverty she witnessed in Foxford Co. Mayo in the late 1800s, the mill provided much needed employment for the area. The mill grew from strength to strength and produced all the Garda uniforms for the country. However, with mass production taking over the Foxford was forced to close in 1987. Fortunately, it was recused by Joe Queenan who saw the continued need for the mill as a key employer.
Today the mill produces high quality fabrics inspired by the colours of the west Ireland's landscape. It is not just a source of employment but has become a luxury lifestyle brand, delivering contemporary fabrics and homewear. The Foxford experience offers world renowned customer service, a history of craftsmanship and impeccable attention to detail across all its products.
