How do you evaluate your own work?
Eugene: When our customers are as happy with our products as we are, it means we’ve done a good job. When you look at the piece you’ve made and you think: ”It’s great, I would love to buy it for myself” – that is definitely a good sign.
What are the key features of your furniture?
Alexander: First of all, functionality. We create furniture that will be a part of the interior, so we make sure it is universally beautiful and comfortable. Secondly, durability. We choose materials that don’t wear off. Finally, variety. We work with different techniques.

Do you have any tips for aspiring craftsmen?
Eugene: Work hard, try new ways, make mistakes, and don’t let little failures stop you. Be independent and unique. Know the value of your labour and your products. Ask questions! We are self-taught, but we consulted with our fellow woodworkers when we started.
What is the best thing about making furniture?
Alexander: The fact that we can transform our thoughts and ideas into something tangible. We enjoy the planning and the making. Naturally, it’s especially nice when people from all over the world make orders and they give positive feedback.
