Since 1982, Enzo Liverino has been at the helm of the family business established by his great-grandfather Basilio in 1894. Today he runs the company with his two sons, who represent the fifth generation to continue the tradition. The company specialises in coral sculpting, an art brought to the south of Italy by Napoleon Bonaparte. They create coral jewellery and objects which combine contemporary design with local tradition, respecting the techniques passed down from generation to generation. Enzo works according to a strict ethical code, and is personally engaged in safeguarding the beautiful areas of the oceans jeopardised by tourism and pollution.

As coral workers, they are committed to the protection of coral environments, using only certified raw materials farmed in areas where the coral is not endangered. Above the workshop, Enzo has established a Coral Museum which houses over 500 pieces. In 2016, Enzo received the prestigious MAM Maestro d'Arte e Mestiere prize, awarded by the Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte in recognition of his coral sculpting skills.
