Founded in 2003, Dymov Ceramic was a passion project of Vadim Dymov and his wife Eugenia Zelenskaya. They started Dymov Ceramic out of a fascination with classical Russian ceramics of the 15th century. They pulled up historical records to restore old technologies. They chose Suzdal, a lovely town with a rich history, as a place to start ceramic production that would recreate ceramic traditions. The first collection the manufacturer ever made displayed the burnishing pottery technique – a form of pottery treatment in which clay is polished instead of glazed. Over the years, they have experimented with many techniques.

Dymov Ceramic produces collections of tableware, decorative pieces and different kinds of tiles. They collaborate with contemporary artists and designers to create limited collections. A relatively new catering division makes and supplies tableware for other businesses. Among the masters that are currently involved in the production, there are potters, artists (liners, stampers), mould makers, casters and others.
