A pair of glasses from Ateliers Baudin are sure to be a testament of true craftmanship. The Ateliers were founded in 2016, working with the best French artisans and bringing together decades of know-how. This traditional maker of unique glasses is established in the heart of Paris and in the Jura mountains, the birthplace of eyewear in France. In the Parisian atelier, a team of experts guide customers through selecting their frames from a wide range of shapes, colours, materials and designs.
Ateliers Baudin's raw materials are natural and exclusive, such as water buffalo horn or genuine tortoise shell for which the house is famous. It takes about 10 measurements on a customer's face to perfect a pair of bespoke glasses. The ultimate goal is to deliver a pair of glasses that reflects the customer’s style and personality. The workshop in the Jura region draws on this area’s rich heritage in eyewear craftsmanship.
