From fashion to floristry

  • • Anne-Mette is a previous fashion stylist and a self-taught florist
  • • She quit her job to open a flower shop with her partner
  • • Her bouquets and arrangements are sophisticated and artistic

Previously a fashion designer, in 2017 Anne-Mette Trolle founded her flower brand, Blooming Copenhagen, and has since opened four flower shops with her life and business partner Thomas Hübschmann. Her arrangements have been likened to the extravagant and sophisticated bouquets made in the 1900s by baroness Karen Blixen, the Danish author of Seven gothic tales and Out of Africa. Blooming Copenhagen stands out for its dramatic, artistic and adventurous flower arrangements, meticulously made using imagination and creativity.
