Customised with leather interior, skate wheels, leather handles, this Rimowa luggage was made at the request of a client.
Bernd Schreiner was 15 when he set up his first workshop in the basement of his parents' home, after being inspired by his father and grandfather who taught him how to carefully handle tools and materials in different crafts. Later, while pursuing a corporate career in the international watchmaking industry, he continued his artisanal work at home, improving his skills, designing, making and upcycling everyday products. Gradually, demand for his work from family, friends and colleagues increased, and so when Bernd was in his 40s, he decided to quit his job and start his own business, UNICUM. He now specialises in upcycling and renovating aluminium suitcases and making leather briefcases and bags.

This trolley underwent a bespoke refurbishment to suit a client's wish for a vintage aircraft trolley. Planking with aluminum, wood or leather, wooden tops, tailor made interiors transform it into a piece for use as a bar, furniture or storage space.

Fully refurbished, this vintage ship lamp was converted to 220V with LED and a dimmer, and placed on a restored and adapted vintage survey tripod. It can function both as a morse lamp or can be fixed for the use as a spot lamp as well.

Based on antique British survey tripods from the 1920s, these lamps have been carefully refurbished with the preservation of the old signs of use. They were wired with high quality components and equipped with velvet lampshades.
