How did you start your journey as an artist?
I was born into a family of artists, and I started painting at an early age. I attended art school from the age of five years old, where I was introduced to different forms of arts and crafts, including ceramics, painting, and sculpture. Later I studied Art History in Germany and did a bachelor's degree in Animation & Design in Armenia.
What was the first piece of art you made?
I can't remember when it was, but when I was a little girl, I was fascinated by different textures and images on my clothes. Once I discovered I could paint on them, I never stopped. I made changes to my clothes all the time, I liked the idea of experimenting with different textiles.

What inspires your drawings?
My main inspirations are flowers and nature. You will notice, some of my scarves have titles such as The Flowers of Paradise or The Muse of the Sun. It shows my passion for nature. I tell stories through my scarves, but I prefer not to share them with my audience, I leave it to their imagination.
Do you teach workshops?
I have a small studio that accommodates two guests. I also work with larger groups in our family studio, which has a big yard, and people sit in nature and make their own scarves. I like sharing my techniques, and watching people use their own imagination when painting their scarves.
