For her series Moths, Zoe hand folded flat strips of black and white paper into dipyramids and tied them together with thread, creating flexible structures able to create many different shapes. As they pass from two dimensions to three dimensions, Zoe’s objects express the metamorphosis of real life moths. The length and width vary.

This object is from the series Moths in which Zoe twisted and tied together hand folded paper structures, creating flexible wall pieces. Each piece in the series is named after the real moth it resembles. Zoe evokes the moth's patterns by using black and white geometrical shapes. The length and width of the piece vary.

This piece was made from alternating rigid modular structures of eight and six dipyramids, sewn together and assembled into a torus. The white one was then interlaced with its black double using thread. This object was conceived to be displayed on a flat surface.

This hand folded paper piece made up of small dipyramids was conceived by Zoe as a flexible modular structure. Composed of black and white moebius sewn together, this work can be displayed flat or hung.

Using hand folded flat strips of paper, Zoe made dipyramids. These individual modules were then sewn together into rigid forms in order to create a triple torus. Finally, she sewed the black and white pieces together. This object was conceived to be displayed flat.
