Promoting Iceland's creatives

Handverk og Hönnun (Crafts and Design) was established in January 2007. The organisation is run with the support of Iceland's Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. Its main objective is to promote crafts, arts and design in Iceland and increase general understanding through a variety of promotional activities. The association organises a wide variety of exhibitions in Reykjavik and around Iceland. It brings together a network of craftspeople and businesses, providing a platform to keep members informed, as well as offering expert consulting services regarding courses, studies, marketing and exhibitions.
