Championing Ukrainian craft

Handicraft Chamber of Ukraine (HCU) is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation established in 2009 in Kiev with the purpose of creating a craft sector in Ukraine, as a socio-economic and cultural category. Its main task is to support and promote the handicrafts in Ukraine, protecting the interests of craftspeople, supporting the development of crafts in Ukraine and implementing craft reforms. As a result of the activities of the Handicraft Chamber of Ukraine and its joint work with state authorities, handicrafts in the Ukraine have received official recognition and plans have been put in place to ensure their continued development.
